In another area of the Delicious plant, popcorn, the company’s first love, is - surprise - popped!  “No matter how we grow in other snack areas, we’re always mindful of the fact that popcorn got us where we are today,” said Jeff.

Delicious starts with hybrid popcorn, the finest to be found anywhere. Each kernel is cleaned before popping, and the popcorn is produced in small batches to maximize quality control. “We only use 100% polyunsaturated Corn Oil - no hydrogenated oils are used,” said Jeff.  Oil and salt are added in controlled amounts to ensure quality control.

De-lish-us®  Popcorn has a shelf life, more than long enough with the quick turnover this product engenders. Other popcorn products include De-lish-us® Cheese Corn, which contains two Wisconsin cheeses blended on-site at the Waupaca plant, and De-lish-us® Caramel Corn, which is small-batch produced in copper kettles, with brown sugar and extra butter added - with no artificial flavors.
